‘Celebration’ – a New Album of Christian Science Music

Happy Holidays!

Is it almost Christmas already?! For those of you who’ve been to your Christian Science Reading Room recently, perhaps you have seen the new two-disc compilation CD released by the Christian Science Publishing Society: it’s called Celebration and features 26 arrangements of new hymns that will be included in the upcoming hymnal supplement. The producers organized about a dozen musicians/groups to record for this project, and we are delighted to be one of them!

You can find our songs on the second disc, and one of them you may recognize as the tune the tune Josephine that we sang at the 2012 Annual Meeting. It was our arrangement of a beautiful setting written by Raymond Burkhart to Mary Baker Eddy’s poem Feed My Sheep. Our other song is Be Gentle, which we arranged as a sweet lullaby.

We encourage you to have a listen to this thoughtfully produced collection of solos – each track is a delight, and every idea a blessing.

Artists: Bill Burden, The Candlewood Singers, Gwen Eagleton, Jay and Tessa Frost, Desiree Goyette, Andrew James, Rebecca Minor, The Newsong Group, Gregory Rahming, Christa Seid-Graham, Susan Booth Mack Snipes, Benjamin Russell Vaughan, Julia Wade.

The CD is available at https://christianscience.buysub.com/celebration-2-cd-set.html.
