“Peace Like a River” Sung in Boston

What a delight and honor it was to hear one of our church solos sung at The Mother Church yesterday (August 11) in Boston! Rebecca Minor and Bryan Ashley provided a masterful rendition of Peace Like A River, beautifully eliciting the spiritual message while gliding effortlessly over the melody and accompaniment.

We invite you to listen to the recording of yesterday’s Sunday service: Visit TMC’s online Sunday service page and press play to start the recording. The solo begins around 30:30.

(NOTE: the recording will only be online until August 18th before it is replaced with next week’s online church service.)

Peace Like a River was released in 2012 on our album of inspirational solos called Soulshine.

Becky did a tremendous job and it was a beautiful solo. 🙂

  2. I love that song and I chose it for our church in Cincinnati yesterday.
I’ve added more of your music to our repertoire. It adds freshness to our services.

It was beautiful. From the opening bars I knew I was in for it. The tender and powerful message of forgiveness brought tears to my eyes yet again. This time I also noticed how simple the accompaniment is, and how supportive of the lyric that spareness can be. “Peace like a river” voices Good’s unending love.

  4. Wonderfully sung- and composed😀
